Zebra Opens Supplies Manufacturing Plant in Mexico

Zebra Technologies Corporation announced the grand opening of its new supplies manufacturing plant in Queretaro, Mexico. This move will further position Zebra for continued growth in the region.

By localizing the production of its printing supplies, Zebra enhances the availability of complete solutions for its customers in Mexico and Latin America, including high-growth e-commerce companies and local manufacturers. In addition, the new plant underscores Zebra’s commitment to quality, innovation, and supply chain resilience across the region. 

“The opening of our Querétaro plant marks a strategic milestone for Zebra in Mexico and the broader region,” said Ernesto Hernández, Vice President, Sales and General Manager, Zebra Technologies Mexico. “We will now deliver broader asset visibility and automation solutions, including our supplies and leading thermal printers in Latin America to better support our customers in building intelligent operations.”

For customers in the retail, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, and healthcare industries, using the right supplies helps ensure accuracy and operational continuity.

Zebra’s supplies are designed to work in tandem with its data capture and printing hardware, delivering peak performance and durability. This portfolio includes barcode labels, ribbons, wristbands, and receipts. Key consumables, including barcode labels, will be produced and warehoused locally at the Querétaro plant.

Beyond operational excellence, the arrival of this new plant reaffirms the company’s commitment to making a positive impact.  Zebra plans to engage with local organizations and community members in Querétaro to drive volunteer projects and support technical education.
